Repair edge of convertible roof

Has anyone successfully repaired the edge of the roof, where it meets the rear quarter panel? Mine has just come away a little bit. Is there any repair kits/tape that can just pull this bit back?

Go into your trunk/boot and with a flashlight on the left-hand side make sure the "convertible top U" is seated within the clip frame on the car.
The separation in your posted picture is just about where the clip is located on the car and I'm guessing it might have popped out of the clip or isn't fully seated in the clip.

Thanks Jas appreciate that. I've checked and it's actually the plastic type part that joins the fabric of the roof to the clipped sections that is broken.
