Renovo my roof where did I go wrong

My roof was looking a little shabby so I thought I would re-colour and reproof it. followed the instructions to the letter not in direct sunlight started from the middle and work out 2 coats of dye, roof now looks worse than it did in the first place :x
anybody got any ideas how I can undo the damage I have done and try and get it looking black again

looks like tide marks from letting the edges dry, try another coat of dye, again start from centre but keep yours edges wet and uniform

I did mine in a cool garage and it came out lovely. Only problem is, it feels awful now. The material doesn't seem to like having too much dye on and gets hard. Need a new roof now :(

This is what I thought, but that is after 3 costs :(

Renovo-ing my roof was one of my (many!) easter detailing jobs that didn't get done. I'm reading this thread thinking I've been quite lucky.

I'd never heard anything but rave reviews for Renovo - any further ideas on what went wrong? Would I be better off just cleaning with AG and sealing up with my Gteqniq?

I would contact Renovo and see what they have to say.
The Z3 I did with Renovo looked ok.

I used the AG kit to fettle the Zroady i had last year , did the shampoo clean bit as instructed then "cheated" a bit with the sealer  its in a spray bottle which i then added a bottle of black liquid shoe polish to before spraying all over in one phase , gently using a sponge to help absorb then leaving to dry & i was more than happy with the results on a 11yr old ragtop . Also felt smooth to touch .

Same process will be happening when i get hold of my next Z this weekend
