Remus Exhaust Z4M

Hi All, as I'm slowly preparing to sell my Z4MC now is the time to let the Remus back boxes go to a new owner. These are beautifully made boxes with a perfect blend of noise increase over OEM and pops and crackle on the overrun. I've had 4 different exhausts during my ownership and the Remus are definitely the best I've come across.

I bought these new back in 2018 and these have seen about 10k miles. They are in excellent condition.

I'm looking for £700 collected (if you want postage I have the original boxes, so we can arrange this for the courier charge).

Is that 5 brands of z4m exhaust for sale in a month now? They look super shiny compared to the 2k miles BCS I just picked up! What's your secret?

Ha, thanks I look after my car pretty well/neuroticly and ensure these are cleaned every week. The trick with exhausts is to clean them regularly with apc so soot doesn’t have a good chance to bake on....and then use Autosol once every 6 months.

Also, (and more importantly) the quality of the metal and finish on these Remus is way above the other exhausts I’ve had on this.

Rouge Diablo, Stromung and a couple of custom boxes. The Stromung were the best of those, but the set I had, had a really poor quality finish and looked knackered after less than a year. The custom ones were too loud and droney and the Rouge I took off as they drowned out the Gruppe way too much.

Ha, my wife thinks they’re the same exhaust which I just polished in different ways

Ok well it’s been nearly two hours on a sale thread with no takers so if we can sort details out tomorrow as I’m about to play poker with my chums I’ll have them please Angelus. I’d need them posted but we can sort that. If all is ok with you let’s do details tomorrow but consider them sold.

Haha, that’s great stuff John! I’ll PM you and for a speedy sale I’ll make a donation to the forum coffers (mods let me know where to donate), thanks, Nathan

Speak tomorrow and I’ll transfer funds and details etc.

Gosh,these went quick!
Damnit!!
They look lovely, and well cared for.

How did you find these, noise wise, compared to stock or other ones you had fitted,Angelus?
Not droney or what?

Are these the Sport Label ones?
Need to replace my oem ones,as Drivers side had a weld on it last year, but brackets now gone, and the weld is needing re done, but can't find the Remus cheaper than £1186!
Cheers

P.s,shame you're selling your z4m coupe,Angelus,but good luck/have fun with its replacement 👍

I’d say they’re 25% louder than stock on start up, and have a little bit more drone under 2k rpm. They’re very liveable as a daily though. When they’re hot you get some really nice pops and crackle when coming off the gas.

The quality of the engineering and metal on these is better than the others I’ve had and seen. Some people won’t like the chrome tips, which I was always unsure about and was contemplating getting powder coated in black.

Damn, it looks like they're gone already!... are they?

Yep, John 89 was first past the post....although if he gets swayed by the £90k 4.0 GTS then these will be back up within no time

John's wife just pulls the ladder out from underneath him if he pulls those sort of tricks

If that's the Case,Angelus666, I am next in line to show interest...as I posted after John had snapped them up,lol.
Been looking for these for a couple of years on and off,and had missed out back in 2018 when a Bargain,2nd hand, but As new/Unused set were being sold via Facebook, For £500!!

These are circa £1100-1200 new now 😥
So Definitely interested in them if John doesn't go through with it,or if John-e89 wants to buy a Porsche and re sell these.... though it's come at a bad time,lol....as spent over £2 k on my cars "wishlist" of preventative maintenance work (Vanos overhaul/uograde,timing chain,Uprated cams,Tyres, Servicing etc etc)during lockdown, and alot more on my house, haha.

But still interested, regardless,so keep me updated, Thanks

Thanks for the feedback/info.
Hopefully John decides to buy a Porsche, and then sells me these exhausts 😁

You beat me by 2 hours ,aaargh.
If you decide to buy that Lovely Porsche 4.0 GTS John, and sell these on again, let me know,as I would be interested, cheers

I have these and they’re by far the best sounding exhausts that I’ve heard for our cars (with the possible exception of RPis which would become tiring on a car that is used daily or often sees motorways). When they’re hot, they sound incredible both under load above 5k rpm and also on the overrun. As an anecdote, on a track day with three GT3 RS Clubsports, a couple of C63Ss, an S1 Elise, a 430bhp Evora, a South African V8 mk 1 Capri and an SLS Black, I still had lots of compliments on the sound of my Zed :driving:

I can vouch for this Remus stuff. They are top shelf. My cat back system is as well made as anything I've seen. The sound is deep yet subtle. Enjoy.
