Remus exhaust - amazing value(with pics!)

So after loads of deliberation and a cancelled H&S order as well as some ProSpeed boxes that i never fitted, i decided to go with Remus back boxes. I know that Supersprint are the Daddy with Eisenmann close behind but i really felt the Supersprint £800 per side was a bit high. I did loads of research and i've gone for Remus. The look is very similar to Supersprint with nice round chrome pipes with a machined Remus branding on each and the workmanship is just awesome.

So here's some photos for y'all, taken on my phone so not too great but decent enough. There's a significant weight saving and the look is so much more sophisticated than the stock boxes. Anyway a total bargain at £410 per side which for me represents the best value when compared to the usual suspect brands.

What do they sound like? That's what really matters

Hope you kept the original boxes as IIRC they are £875/pair

So far they are just a little deeper than stock, not overpowering at all which is what i wanted. They may alter a little as they bed in, we'll see.

They look excellent, definitely an improvement over stock. What are the weight savings?

Vredesteins rule. The best value, best looking tyre on the market. Delivering PS2 performance for Falken cost. Couldn't recommend them more.

Didn't weigh the boxes but did physically lift them an there's a big difference.

Ali - you around in the moring for a run? You'll get to see the 3 nicest M coupes in Scotland - only missing dgm's?

Look great. I see you entrusted our friends at Drivers again. That is the guy (correct me, Steve i think his name was?) that my steering issue puzzled.

I am a big fan of both Vredesteins and Remus too!

You can hear the exhausts here:

outrun,
which company supplied your remus boxboxes and also has your car been lowered or is it sat on the standard springs?the reason i ask is when i get my csl's i dont want it to look like a monster truck :o
my shopping list,
1,remus back boxes
2,csl's

I got my exhausts from Drivers in Glasgow. You can order direct from the Remus website, they come from their factory in Italy and take a couple of weeks to arrive. Fitting is easy peasy and shouldn't cost more than £50 or so max. Yes, it's lowered on Eibach springs. The low profile of 19" tyres makes the gap between the tyre and the wing look a little ungainly, especially at the front. The springs are cheapish, around £150 fitted. Doesn't appear to make much difference to the ride or handling and lowers about 20mm. It's a good idea to consider RPIs skid plates to protect the corners of the front bumper as it's even easier to smack a kerb!
