Removing the intake box

Hi all
To fit an oil pressure sensor it looks like I need to remove the air box back to the throttle bodies, how do you get the clips off?
TIF says you needs a special tool, can it be done without?
Can the clips be re used or do I need new ones?
Is this the only way to gain access to the sender sensor area?
What about removing the oil filter casting, any drawbacks to this?

Hey bro.... The oil filter housing is much harder to remove than the plastic intake box, all you need is a simple clip remover , they are reusable and with the proper tool it's very easy to remove, theirs 2 nuts underneath held to a bracket and also the dip stick!!

Yes, you can do the throttle bodies clips without the special tool.
I found it most convenient to use a set of slip joint pliers, such as the one in the picture below:

Set the pliers on large jaw position when removing the clips, and small jaw position when fitting them back.
If you take a little bit of time to analyze the mechanics of the clips, you'll figure out how to apply the pliers. If not, post a close-up picture of the clips and I'll come back with more instructions.

If you mean the spring clips that secure the rubber induction hoses together I always use a set of mole grips.
You can wind the jaws together if required.
