Removing the carpeted battery cover

I need to remove my battery cover this weekend (weather allowing), does anyone have any tips on this? I have tried casually before and it didn't seem to want to shift so I was probably doing something wrong!

You simply release the screws/clips (half or quarter-turn) holding it on, then lift up & out.

If you have an MR, there are three nuts on top of the battery cover underneath the compressor and tin of tyre sealant. Then two plastic push through type fittings in the carpeted area. Once all these are removed you can lift the cover upwards.
 
Thanks both - it is an MR, i'll take a look later this evening.

The 2 push through type, are they visible on the carpet?
