Removing the carpet - Anyone done this?

I've searched the forum but cannot find anyone who has removed / swapped out the carpet (both sections) from the cabin

Has anyone here done this? The reason why I ask is that I'm getting rid of my beige carpet as its a chore to clean, also keen to colour match my new black dash

Hi Liam

I managed to pickup the two sections of black carpet for £40 (thanks to nightyard) so going that route instead of dying

I've had the seats and center console out quite a few times already, but I am more intrigued on how the carpet is held down

I haven't had mine out, but I would have thought a spray adhesive. Worst case scenario, heat and pull, especially if you have replacements?
 
Adhesive? I think your on the money with that

just look at the black carpet...that should give you some ideas?
I think its just the trim and seats securing it in and probably like liam said, some spray adhesive.
 
i cant remember who but there was someone on here who took there`s out due to leaving the roof down overnight and it raining so had to dry out carpets
