Removing the "Boot Shelf"

Hi all, this request is linked to my issue with water getting into the boot. I need to get the boor carpet and sound deadening dried out as well as finding out where the water is getting in from.
To get the carpet out, it looks like you need to get the adjustable "back shelf" out. I have removed the two 10mm bolts and the two hex bolts, however it will not move. Any ideas?

There's two black plastic clips on each side of the shelf (number 4 on this diagram http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=BT51&mospid=47797&btnr=54_0315&hg=54&fg=10). You can access them from the boot, pinch them loose and the shelf can be lifted out.

Hope u get the leak found/fixed. be interested in hearing/reading what u find. blocked rain channels??

Still getting water in, check progress in my other thread. "water in the boot again"
