Hi, i am struggling to remove the pins from the connector below... what is the best way to get the pins out of the connector as i need to re-plug the pins into another connector...

I would have suggested a small screwdriver to release the pins :D

Tried that PVR, but the connector block seemed to be joined and mouled as one after the pins were inserted initially...

I want to plug that lead into the back of my Bluetooth connector and then back into my radio but I am worried now that I will not be able to remove the pins from the BT block if the they don't form the right connection... any ideas on this...

Pins can be inserted and removed at will into any BMW plug. Once you remove whatever cover it has you'll see a small hole. Press a thin screwdriver or point in to release the pins barb.

You can buy a bag or individual pins and connectors (male/female) with pigtail wire from BMW if you need to change them

Thanks CJ but my problem the last time was that the cover would only come off with a hammer :? as the cover seemed to be moulded... i don't want to plug the pins into my BT connector incase they do not work and then won't be bale to remove them...

They definitely come out once the little tag on the wire is released, been in there several times for Bluetooth retro fit and BMW iPod interface.

i used some very small instrument drivers when removing pins on the stero connector

push the tab in with the instrument driver and pull the pin at the same time
