Removing M steering wheel plastics?

Looking for some info on how to remove the 3 sets of steering wheel plastic on the M steering wheel? You know those ones that scratch ever so easily :x looking to remove the mulitfunction buttons as well, guessing it wont be to hard once those plastics are off.

Thought I seen some info on the forum before about this but I cant find it for the life of me.
