Removing illuminated gearknob?

Humm - mine does not light up, is that true on all model years?!! Need to investigate - and it makes fitting the new Illuminated ZHP easier!

Probably just unplugged. Did either of the previous owners have a different knob?

Humm - I don't believe so but I can message and check / or just pull it off and check

I replaced the standard knob with a new ZHP illuminated one (thanks Steve for the ebay link) and its looking fantastic!

The old one was not unplugged - the wires had been cut - or least thats how it appears when i pulled it off and inspected. Its still in great condition so will be up for sale on here soon.

Anyhows - all is good now and I had a chance to hoover it out properly for the first time in 2 weeks of ownership.

God i love this car and its "as new" feel!!!! Hats off to Graham and Steve who owned it before me!
