Removing exhaust tips

Received my MM tips and I've got one changed successfully, I'm having a nightmare getting the other one off though. The screw unscrews a couple of mm then keeps rotating round. I've sprayed some WD40 around the screw / between the exhaust and the covers and left overnight but it hasn't made much difference.

Tried pliers, wedging something in between the tip / screw but no luck!

What next?

I removed the screw the led under the car and tapped the tips off with a rubber mallet and a screw driver/bit of wood.

Can't you drill the screw out?

Place a small chisel against the screw head and tap with a hammer,this might be enough to break the bond between the old tip and the tail pipe.The other way is if you have a blow torch,is to warm up the old tip taking care not to melt the bumper,then use a chisel or large screwdriver to drift off the old tip.The loose screw is doing nothing to hold the tip in place :violent1: :violent1:
