Removing drivers seat - how difficult?

Is it a big job?

Think the only way forward to stop the squeaks is take out the seat and lube it up

5 minutes - but leave the ignition off as otherwise you will get a problem.

This is the plug underneath the seat to slide out:

If they are electric you need to power them forward then backward to give access to the 4 torx holding them down. Once done centre the runners for ease out of the door.

Then as PVR says ignition off and only then diconnect the loom.
Personally I'd disconnect the battery as it's oh so easy to slip up and turn on.
