hello
i have jsut found fitting guide and it seem you have to take a large part of the rear of the interior apart to get it out so it will be staying put! is it correct i cannot run the cd changer, dvd sat nav and ipod all through the stereo and i have to remove the cd changer to be able to have the ipod cable?

the cd changer cable just goes into a socket in the back of the radio. Simply remove and replace with the iPod cable plug...

alternatively go for a AUX-IN and keep your cd changer, nav and everything :D

Leave the changer where it is, not worth the hassle to remove. As gannet said just disconnect the cable from the boot via the firewall/bulkhead.

The aus connector give you just a 3.5mm connector with no extra functionality. I think the connects2 would require you to dicsonnect the CD changer also.

If you have OEM Nav then the flavour of the month seems to be an Intravee, otherwise the Dension Gateway unit with business head units.
