Removing bukhead trim - anyone know?

Trying to get the upper sections of the bulkhead trim removed - anyone know how to do it?

There are basically three sections - a centre upper/covering section that looks as though it has to come off first, but I cannot for the life of me work out how to do it - and two outer pieces (one behind each seat).

There seem to be clips of some sort that hold it down to the two outer sections, but how they undo is beyond me. I don't want to force them as I bet they are expensive ...

I've had the centre section out, it does come off first. You'll be on your own after that though. Open the cubby door and find plastic screws under the leading top edge of the opening on either side of the door release. They have an odd size square driver recess, but a #2 philips driver should turn them. Be careful to not strip the heads, they are soft plastic but shouldn't be very tight. You do not need to remove the screws entirely, they are actually expansion anchors. Once backed out about 1/2" the entire anchor can be pulled out.

Once the expansion anchors are out, push the panel upwards while gently prying outwards at points of resistance with a panel tool to release the retention hooks. Be careful, the hooks can be easily broken.
