Hi guys,

My new plates and tax disc have arrived but im a tad confused on how to remove the rear plate

The front one appears to be screwed in, but the back plate has not fittings and i dont want to just rip the thing off not knowing whats behind it

Any ideas?

Thanks
Rich

er, mine was screwed on the same as the front

can only think it is on with double sided tape, the front is harder to fasten this way because of the bend in the plate

Probably sticky pads...

Try use a wire (like a cheese wire) and drag it along behind the back plate....

I used sticky pads front and rear on new plates, looks so much smarter!

If its sticky pads count yourself lucky, some tool has drilled about 4 holes behind my plate which buggers up my idea of having a smaller cut down plate!

Spot on - the car must have had private plates before and they just went with sticky pads for the back - plates on now, looks great

Thanks

NO NOT WIRE - use dental floss and prevent the possibility of any paintwork damage
