Removing alternatror

So I was going to set about removing my alternator tonight before realising the replacement I had was wrong....sigh!

Anyway, can anyone please explain to me how to loosen the belt as circled?

Hi, I think there's a spring tensioned pulley wheel you can get a socket on to introduce some slack to the belt

There is a torx screw down and left. That is pulled down to release.

Yes you need a T60 bit for that if I recall correctly

Thought it was a 16mm hex. !
