remove trim from center consol

Good Evening ,

does anyone have an idiots guide to getting the aluminium trim out on the center consol ? I seen some pictures of the trim being recovered but I've bought a new piece - thinking the trim just popped out - but apparently the whole center tunnel has to come out.
I've found 2 screws at the back of the tunnel - behind the seat ..... and that's as far as I've got

It does indeed have to come out as it's held on with about a million screws. There was a guide in Italian I think. I just used the photo's to figure it out. The cubby surround between the seats needs to come out aswell.
