Just as your all installing them...how do you actually remove the box from the bracket?

My box is broken so I would like to remove and replace it.

If I sit in the passenger seat, open the box and feel towards the front of the box ceiling I can depress a tab upwards but this doesn't enable the box to pull out. Am I missing something here (quite likely! :!:)?

Thanks.

From fitting I recall you've got it right. Press a tab upwards and pul the box forward. I remeber they are a tight fit so might need a bit of a tap once the tab is really fully depressed.

Thanks to you both. Will give it another try.

I now hold you responsible for the fact my drivers side box is in the kitchen. I washed the zed this morning and fiddling as one does decided to see if my box was indeed tight. Of course it wasn't anf pulled straight out. Mrs CJ at that moment advised to pull my finger out as it was time for a family event and so no ime to relocate the box on its runners...I took it inside to remind me.

Here I am back with the box out watching TV ..... :headbang:

You now have the opportunity to examine your box for defects and imperfections, check that the bracket mechanism is still operating optimally, and finally, give it a good hoover underneath it!

I think I've done you a favour!

I'm obviously just ungrateful and didn't appreciate the help I was getting.

Box is now back in and my life feels somehow more complete and less stressed, knowing that I can easliy remove it again should the need arise.
