I have a 3.0si with the sports seats and the backrest adjustment on my passenger seat has stopped working. The motor still makes a noise but nothing happens.
After reading PawnSacrifice's post I thought it may be the gear box and I'm thinking of getting a new part 3D printed if needed. However, I can get the seat out easily but I can't get the gearbox out! There is a bar linking the two sides of the seat which stops you pulling the gearbox out.
Is there an easy way to remove it? Or do I need a new base?
