Remove buttons from steering wheel trim

As per the title. How do I remove the buttons from the steering wheel trim? I need to take them off to be able to remove the gooey coating and paint them.
They do have some small torx screws in the back, please see picture. Is it wnough just to remove them or are there some clips also?

I did it while ago but if I remember yes just the screws, there is a chance the button will literally come of the backing plate/PCB but no big deal to put back if my memery does not trick me
