Removal of Windscreen wiper arms

Hi
I have a 53 plate zed and an having difficulty removing the windscreen wiper arms. I have tried carefully shocking the bolts that hold the blades off after removing the nuts.

Any advice from anyone who has experienced this problem and advice how to get them off would be appreciated.

Pull the wiper vertical and give it a good shake and pull

They certainly can be very tight. I used a spline puller like this one:

Cheap as chips & does the job perfectly

Yeh, definitely just buy a puller. They make the job a breeze and are not exactly expensive. You’ll just get frustrated ragging at them otherwise.

Thanks for the advice, yep the only way I could get them off was with a puller.
