removal of M MFSW

Hello just a quick question, i retrofitted the M MFSW a few months back and mine being a 2003 car i had to fit the extra wire. Question is i now want to take to wheel back off can i leave the wire fitted or do i have to remove. Thanks in advance. Steve
 
I would leave it fitted as it simply leads to 2 pins which on the 'new' wheel you connect won't have connections and thus just be 'dead' wires.
 
Of course you may ask :D have put deposit down on a 3.0manual in Merlot which already has a MFSW fitted and even though not the M version i think it suits the car betterthan the M would, hence the removal of mine to hopefully sell, i intend to put the old wheel back on my car.

No one has actually made a serious offer but appreciate the gentlemanly way business is done on here :D its a great forum got slightly tempted by Audi but sooo glad am staying lol. Seriously am i better putting in for sale column on a first come first served basis not here to play folks off against each other. Cheers Guys . Steve
 
Going by what has been said on the other thread I would PM the 2 interested Parties and ask if they want to make an offer, You will know what you are looking for, if they aren't willing to pay what you want then put on the forum, but I would give them first shout.
