Removal of Front Kidney Grilles on E89

I got the black grilles this morning. I tried to take the old ones off, but I couldn't. Each grill has a total of 8 clips (3 on top, 1 on each side, and 3 at the bottom). Are they the same as the ones on E85/E86? I can't see all clips can be pressed and released at the same time.

Can it be a off-bumper job?
