Removal of door trim fittings.

Hello all,

Does anyone know how to remove the 'custom' trim piece adjacent to the interior door opening handle?
When I say 'custom' I mean the piece that matches your cars interior style, brushed aluminium, wood or whatever.

Do they 'pop' off or is a door card removal required??

Cheers all

My memory ain't that great but if I do recall correctly, it's a combination of screws and clips maybe some plastic welds. Once you remove the door card you will see, it's pretty straight forward.

They're also attached to the door handle, so it's not a v simple procedure, and one you're not likely to be able to reverse.

I took mine off last year to wrap them:

If I remember correctly they are attached to the handles via plastic welds. I separated them when I carbon skinned mine, it's pretty simple really just Dremel the welds out and then reattached using PU adhesive.
