Remote roof

My neighbour has just brought in 61 plate E89 and wants to know if she can open her roof from the key! as I don't know anything about E89 I thought I would post it up for her

Should be able to, from the keyfob, if the tray is down in the boot, hold the unlock key and watch the roof go down. Like most things, its in the manual!

FYI you can't close it again from the fob.. Unless you have comfort access (keyless entry/start).

press it once to unlock, then press and keep pressing windows should drop then roof close. If it stops then press again it might loose its signal.

like manic said no close, not even from the drivers door like yours/ e85

We all can do it with the smartroof mod but i cant justify it just yet.

+1 and dealers seem to be unaware of this.
