Hi everyone,
just noticed this on fleabay, nothing to do with me but it may interest someone, it looks like an alternative to a gap tech.

Reinhold module, I have both remote and one touch modules.

Which is best out of the two.......or is it personal preference?
Are they easy to fit?

So,if it could be purchased for £60 delivered.........that would be considered cheap I presume........or are they cheaper elsewhere?

Thanks

They do two seperate things.

One touch. Just press the roof up or down button in the centre console for 1 second then let go. The roof will raise or lower.

Remote. Just press the open or close button on the remote three times and the roof will raise or lower. No need to keep the button pressed.

Sounds just like the gaptech, I have just fitted one and if this can be bought for £60 its a bargain, I just paid £124.

It is but has been around a lot longer.

Gaptech is a lot simpler to install. No messing under the glove box hanging upside down, that was the main reason I chose that one.

I have had the eOpen modules before, great kit as well. Reinhold customer service was very poor for me, bought a unit for someone else and it did not work - not a word from them, no response to emails etc. Had to just bin it.

Just to add - I have seen more Reinholds not working, and as this particular unit has been bought a while back - no way you will get any response from the company if you have an issue.

Well.......I decided against.........it didn't sell!!

The guy selling this has just messaged me......I offered him £40 Delivered for it.......he's having a think about it.....its 12 months old........never fitted it!!

Is it worth a gamble at that price.....do you think?

Thanks

If that is just what you want, then why not. I like the one touch as well though.

£40 is not a lot of money, just the gamble on whether it works of course.
