This is great improvement for me, this i want from when i bought a car.
Installation is not dificult, whitout something programing via DCAN. i think installation take 2-3Hours and everythning give back

For me important function
- open/close with one click on dashborad button (windows open/close also)
- open/close with remote key (windows open/close also)
- if you drive car, function open/close trought driving is possible to max 55Km/h

I would also recommend the Gaptech RCH+

Super simple to install. comes with the installation instructions plus wire taps. Only downside is that you cannot operate the roof at speed. Need to be at standstill.

Hi, this ecu is from Xcarstyle https://www.dachmodule.de/topmodules/bmw-469/bmw-z4-e85-cabrio-aio-module.html
have many function, also in package was everything what you need for instalation, then you can gone only with screwdriver, thats all.
Next module what i want is this:
licht module and important things is, you can combine this module togheter, this is also great
https://www.dachmodule.de/light-comfort-modules/bmw-lightmodules/bmw-z4-e85-ml.html

For me is important function, FOG lights like DRL, i only change FOG lights to FOG with EA and than you dont shine with main lights, you have "A" automatic mode, then function is "A" day DRL and in night main lights .
Next feature is what have new BMW models Hazard lights up 60Km/h if you break then lights flash.
What didn't provide BMW, now we can do it ourself ;)

Features of the Multi Light-Module:

Comfort Indicator
Cornering Light
Daylight
US-Indicator
Coming Home
Home Light
Close Light
Window / Sunroof remote
Emergenzy Stop Hazard
Chirp module

Daylight:
After starting the engine the daylight will be tunred on automatically if the headlight is switched off. As daylight you can use foglights, headlight, indicaotr (US-Light) and taillight or any combination of them.

Issue is, the fog lights is not connected trought licht module LCM and you canntont something do it in NCSexpert like active FOG_LICHT and no active MAIN_LIGHTS if you have button on position "A". -FUC*-- this BMW can do that frorm 2001 (E65 7er) grrr.
And also now i coded also for BMW E63 (6er - 2004 )

As i wrote on the my first topic about 2-3 hours. isnt plug & play, but you need to connect on three places, one is cluster (2 wires) , next by transmission (2wires) and last on side passenger under fuse box ECU EWS (5 wires), everything insulate with electrical tape. Thats all.

I have it installed in mine, works fine. Installation was a breeze, fits right underneath the ashtray. The keyfob now allows for opening and closing the roof with triple button presses, which is great -- hit 'open' 3 times in quick succession to unlock the car and lower the top, hit 'open' 2 times and 'lock' once in quick succession to lock the car and close the roof. The single touch action mode on the buttons inside is a nice function too, just hold the open or close button briefly and you can let go, while the action still continues. Even when driving off once action has started, up to 30km/h.
There's just one thing I wish it didn't do, which is raise the windows after opening the roof and which can't be stopped without opening the door. When the top is down, I pretty much always drive with the windows lowered :)

Theres a quick fix for this which i always do. When the roof is fully retracted (you don't hear the motor whine anymore) just press any button on the key fob and it will interrupt the program. Same procedure works if you're sitting inside and use the dash buttons. Once the roof is fully retracted, hit either the open or close button once and the windows wont come up. Do let me know if it works!

Well, look at that. Works like a charm, thanks for the tip!

No problem! that's what this community is for :D

I believe it was in the specifications of this controller that a push of any of the key buttons or roof control buttons will interrupt the program, for safety

Jumped on this too. The Gaptech website has been really flakey of late, i didn't realize that it was back online. Looking forward to the one-touch roof operation.
