remote key stopped working

Hi all,

Went karting last night, came second and very chuffed with that :) ! A midget that weighed about 8 stone beat me. :x

But anyway once returning to the car the fob did nothing at all. I unlocked the door with the key and stuck in the ignition to shut the alarm up.

This morning i tried the spare key and it works fine. Damn, obviously not a blown fuse :cry: .

Has the key stopped recharging do you think? And more importantly how much will a new one be?

Got it going. Just needed a reprogram at my local indy. Strange why it would just freak out like that though :?
 
IMZ4N. I think thats pretty much what the garage did. It looked quite fiddly trying to get both keys to work though as it seemed to only want one or the other. CJ - you may be right, its quite battering karting :D

Got the roof up/down feature unlocked at the same time though so worth the trip. :)
 
I think if you push the buttons enough times when out of range of the car they will go out of sync... my nissan used to do this and need a similar resyncing operation to get it working again.
