Remote door locking/unlocking

Hi all,
My drivers door (RHD) won’t unlock with the remote and needs to be unlocked by inserting the key into the lock. The passenger door and fuel flap unlock as they should. The boot also unlocks with the remote. It’s the same scenario using the lock button inside the car. The drivers door will also unlock if the inside door handle is pulled twice. I have read about this being a common problem but no definitive solution. Any advise welcome.

Ok, thanks. Have read up on the gm5 module so will purchase relays, remove said module and take it to someone with better soldering skills than myself. Hopefully that is the issue. My storage compartment/CD stacker door is locked also and doesn’t unlock with the remote. The emergency pull from inside the boot has been pulled and the string is slack so no joy there. I have managed to slide the lock open with a small screwdriver and gain access. Previous owners CD’s sunglasses etc still in there. Is it likely this issue is related to the door unlocking problem?

Thanks for the offer, much appreciated, but I’m in Australia and given the postage services, especially at the moment, the turn around time would be too lengthy.

Ah! Didn’t realise! Any decent electronics repair shop should be able to do them for you. Does need care and a good iron to avoid damaging the pcb tracks and through plating on the holes.
