The problem was pretty consistant for the last couple of weeks. It has been fine today

I was getting the little RSS logo in the browser bar, now it's gone, I think you fixed the problem for me at least Thanks

Mine remembers the log in details but again today I went to the new posts list, opened all the ones I wanted to read in new tabs and halfway through it said I wasn't logged in. Must be safari

I can understand a new 'feature' having some negative effect on a user's browsing habits for security sakes, but if it's a new feature across the board, then why does it only occur randomly, and only on 2 websites?

Although reformatting just to get rid of it is a bit extreme, as in my case it would take a day to do so - considering the amount of apps I'd have to reinstall. I do however do a archive and install about every 6 months, and if there's been something annoying going on in that period then I tend to rebuild/refresh all my apps/preferences.

Can't stand Chrome, so that's not a solution for me, and it's such a small issue that I can't even be bothered moving my mouse an inch to the right to click the Firefox or Opera icons instead (only use them for some websites that just don't render properly on Safari, or that have weird javascript calls that Safari blocks for security reasons).

It's certainly confusing as the ipad on the same connection has no issues. (other than safari crashing a lot after it's recent update)

Windows 7, sometimes it remembers, sometimes not and sometimes logs me out halfway through a session??? :headbang:
