Since converting my 14 plate lwb relay into a camper the extra weight has driven the already lacklustre performance down and down. After reviewing a few places I popped to Ace car care in shrews for a re-map with the promise itll be a different van assuring me they'd done loads of campers like mine. About 4 hours later I picked it up and.....nothing!! Still as flat as a f**t. I contacted them to be told it was definately a performance map taking the power up to 163bhp and the torque increased by around 15%. After trying various other driving styles I realised yes it was more powerful but only when thrashing it around 4k rpm which was useless. Been back today and they've altered the power curve to be active from 1800 rpm rather than 3000 rpm....WOW what a difference!! Its like the van is empty and it's running on nitrous...if anyone has a camper or similar you've got to try this!!
