remapping and NA cars

The 3.0si hard limiter is at 7k anyway, the ecu just pulls the power completely past 6.5ish. I would be extremely surprised if remapping it to give power to 7k would give any reliability issues. Well I'll be finding out soon enough, I've requested 7,300rpm limiter and will see how it goes!

Interested read. I think it would be better with additional modifications to the exhaust, manifold and induction. Those figures do look tempting but id be surprised if you get that much more out of the engine without any additional mods.

Exactly this , the quoted figures are " up to " the claimed increase in power , not over and not guaranteed to be the top figure , I can stand in my local bar and tell all the girls my dick is up to ten inches long , it's not over that so I'm not fibbing but if any of them decide to come home with me they will probably be disappointed , I know it's a somewhat crude analogy but it gets the point across .

No worries Paul, just send the ladies over to me.........

I've not had any complaints yet and I'm 50 , experience counts for everything
And still don't get any
