Remapping 18i - new buyer

Hi all,

I really fancy buying a Z4 however I have a dilemma, I would really like an 28i however they are rare and expensive, I wouldn't mind a 2012 plate 20i which is £17000! - however a 2014 plate 18i with much less miles on the clock is only £15,000!

I am wondering if I get the 18i could I remap it to higher bhp to that of a 20i or 28i ??

Hi Scott, I actually posted about this the other day, Evolve Automotive can remap the 18i to around 250hp.

Prices are on their website, but I think it was around £600
 
Thanks for the reply - Any Could you link me to the topic? ... I did have a quick search before posting!

I also wondered about whether or not I would need winter tyres ? (Given it's a rear wheel drive and will be my all year driving car)
