Relearn after battery disconnected

Hi all. How many miles does it take for the car to relearn what's what?

Done about 8 miles so far, and it's still not 100% on idle. Seems fine at all other throttle inputs.

Cheers

It shouldn’t take any

May be worth resetting the throttle adaptations

Depress accelerator
Turn ign on
Wait 30 sec
Turn ign off
Wait 30 sec
Release accelerator

Cheers, will give it a try.

It's unhappy idling. Which is strange considering the plugs are new and the coil packs are less than 18 months old.

Check for air leaks especially where there are idle issues on start up

How is the elbow from the intake as that’s the usual spot for holes letting more air in

This is the pipe that runs from MAF to the throttle body?

It's just lit up the EML.

Fitted a new alternator. Was hoping to swop out the manifold but the weather decided not today.

I've checked all the plugs etc.

What have I done:/

If it’s an m54 yes the rubber boot that runs from the airbox to the intake

They split for fun especially around the convoluted part

What code? I’m betting it’s running lean

It's an N52.

Don't have a cable yet, am at the mercy of Evri. Hopefully tomorrow.

Any other way to read them?

Will spray some easy start around the pipe, it'll pick up RPM if it's leaking

No but I’d advise investing in a basic code reader

It’s a pita to fire up the laptop every time you get a warning light

Managed to borrow a cheap code reader. It fished out;
P0102
P1415

The first one is MAF related. Tried disconnecting the plug whilst engine was running and it seems to improve idle.
Second seems to be about air pump. Vacuum related?
