Brothing-law just bought a e89 2.0 turbo (2013), how will that perform against my e85 2.5si. Also I have to investigate low washer jet pressure. Is it an easy fix? thanks in advance.

My guess would be washer bottle full of crud - there's a 'how to' on here somewhere about how to clean out - 20 min job if i recall

If it's the 28i you will lose in a race :)

Think the 2.0 is 184 bhp but off course it can be modded very easily and get quite a bit more bhp :)

The 2.0i has more torque than the 2.5si so will force you back in the seat harder on acceleration :driving:

Yes there's 3 different specs of 2.0 turbo 18i/20i/28i. Not sure if the OP meant to write 2.0 turbo or actually meant 20i
As Rob said any of the 2.0t will force you back in your seat earlier in the rev range than the non turbo 6's but in terms of outright straight line speed your 2.5Si would roughly be quicker than a 18i, on a par with the 20i and slower than 28i.

But with that low down torque if you jump in it for a quick go around the block in suburbia (low revs) even a 18i will probably feel more potent than yours. As you'll know, yours comes into its own when you open the taps. The E89 will feel more weighty though and less nimble than yours.

2.0i that's all I know about the car (CO₂Emissions 159 g/km) If that helps.

All the various models of the 2l turbo range have the same economy/emissions figures :o
