BP on Craigleith Road has been at 105.9p for the past 3 days Angie

Not bad at all. I always go to Shell at Ferry Road or of I'm heading east Seafield or Musselburgh. I tend to find they are priced more in line with the local supermarkets. As there isn't any competition really close to Canonmills they charge what they like and it's always busy so won't drop it prices too much.

Canonmills has always had higher prices over the years irrespective of which fuel company has owned it.

I'm with you on Shell prices as they tend to be competive, and I also use either Shell Ferry Road as it is close to my office or Shell Musselburgh.

With Tesco offering up to 20p off a litre when you use their credit card I filled up the Skoda (Diesel)

48 litres for £45 the other day - now that was very noticeable!

(Remember the fuss when petrol went up to £1 per litre. . . .)

:driving:

A pound a litre? I remember only too well the fuss when it went to £1 a gallon!
The "office experts" told us it could never happen as the pumps couldn't handle it !

Though there is solace in the pound/euro  http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/article-2981260/Pound-buys-1-38-euros-ECB-s-bond-buying-plan-weakens-euro.html

Thats my luck! I've got a wedge of cash stashed in the safe from last September bought at €1 -23 :(

437 miles in our rental Mazda 6 in the states (skyactive whatever than means) on one tank.. filled it for $39. (£25) dont think we will ever get that low..

Afraid that they dangle the carrot from the stick once in a while then they start whacking us with the stick!

On holiday in the states in December... Paid $1.85 a gallon at one station in Colorado. That's 33 pence a litre... Depressing

So today sees a strange phenomena , diesel & unleaded identical price at the pump in my local station £1.14p :?
