Rejoice the price of fuel !

Same here, easily over 1000 miles in a 1.25 fiesta  good old Scotland.

Should save me a few bob! Although I imagine service stations still charge ridiculous amounts.

I'm doing about 1,000 miles over the Christmas break, so a 30p/litre reduction will save me about £45 - which is about the price of a good bottle of Barolo.
A spanish red
A Spanish red for you maybe, but I'll stick with my Italian Barolo

So much for the Yes campaign for Scottish Independence argument that oil is the answer to an independent Scotland's economy. So glad that we are Together!
They actually said that having oil was a bonus on top of everything else Scotland has to offer.

I was reading between the lines. We are talking politicians here after all.

The price is going mental, the same station that was £1.15 yesterday and £1.14 this morning was £1.13 when I was heading home this evening.
How low do you let it go before stockpiling it??

Indeed - and they were talking out of their arses when they said it

Enjoy it while it lasts ...........

Unlike other and previous "Oil Surpluses" which were due to general market collapses, this one is being engineered by OPEC.
For them to deliberately create a surplus and crash the price of oil, they must have a reason ......... they don't throw away money for nothing.

Analysts are pointing at Fracking as being the new energy source - strangely enough 60 USD a barrel puts Frackers out of business.

Its a pay now or pay later scenario, the world cannot afford cheap oil ....... strange as it seems, cheap oil stops them drilling ..... without continuous drilling and well developments, the oil supply will fall dramatically in just 6 months ...... when that happens, the price goes through the roof.

Remember, the gas that goes in your car is just a small portion of where oil goes ....... plastics, composites .... just about ever modern material we use comes from oil.

So like I say ...... enjoy it while it lasts ........ when OPEC has achieved what they wanted, they will turn the screws back on :driving:

Just filled the van up with diesel in Normandy @ 1.09eur a litre :) sub 90p was a long forgotten memory & never thought id see it again :driving:

Should help to make mrs w's 3.0 X3 look almost "economical" :P when we sold the previous one in Jan i think unleaded was around £1.35 :? :o

Motorway service station prices (always jacked-up, I know...) for v-power were around £1.47/1.48 in the summer.
