Just had an inspection 2 service and MOT, all filters changed, brake fluid renewed, new spark plugs and I supplied the Castrol Edge engine oil. Bill came to £282. Good communication all the way through the process with a very professional approach.
Was recommended to me via a colleague and I have to say I'm impressed. This is a Bosch approved garage and I understand Bosch carry out audits to ensure standards are being met. Next service is an oil service and I’ve already earmarked RG for the task.
Car drives noticeably better with more oomph and purpose. Exhaust note has changed (for the better) and everything feels like its been refreshed.
Top marks all around!

bmw specialist indy ? valve clearances checked and recorded ? , bmw parts ? not being funny but that seems too cheap to be a proper ins 2, plus you had an mot as well, I know we dont want to pay extortionate dealer prices but I am struggling to see , after parts and vat they can do a proper job for that money, do you know if they changed dif fluid with bmw fm , cabin filter, gearbox oil , plugs are at the best over 50 quid alone, anyone else's thoughts on this? :?
 
Phew, that's some listing and yes not an M. E85 2 litre and yes plugs where changed at £56, oil, air and pollen filter. Advised front brake discs/pads need doing but not urgent. Handbrake tightened and overall they had clearly offered a good service with an exhaustive check list completed and signed.
Have to say I've trotted my co cars into various main dealers and overall I've been underwhelmed by the experiences especially with my latest - a Vauxhall Insignia. Absolutely CRAP service from a main dealer who couldn't give a toss and used an engine wiring loom to wedge his cigarette butts into! Still there to this day and a constant reminder why I will never buy another Vauxhall. Similar experience with my Passat when the main dealer advised me the diessel that had leaked all over my offside brakes because they had not fitted a filter seal corectly, would wash off with the rain. I can still see that "service advisors" face as he spoke those words and he dared to think I was mug enough to believe him! The Alfa dealer who told me I needed a new steering rack at 40K miles which was utter bollocks. The car got sold at 107K miles and passed two MOT's with the original rack. The only one that ever provided good service was Rover who looked after my 600 that eventually went on to give 180k trouble free miles.
So as you can see I have little regard for main dealers and this is based on 35 plus years of co car driving. Fact of the matter is too many are complacent when they have a captive audience whereas if chosen carefully an indy can and often does provide as good or better service. Not that I'm saying all main dealers are sus but I can only judge as I have found. Even my lease company tells me I am afflicted by an unfair share of bad main dealers where I live!
Have a new co car coming in a month or so and this time it will be a Skoda Octavia. Obliged to use a main dealer for servicing so let's see how good they are. Actually they have a very good name in this respect so I'm hoping they will come up trumps.
I'd also say I have absolutely no brand loyalty because of these very poor experiences.

I've lived in Horley on/off for the last 30 years but in the 70's and some of the 80's it was Reigate. Obviously I know the places you mentioned but I'm not born or bred from Horley seed. Court Lodge is now gone and replaced by a long overdue sports centre.
Funny enough my head office is in Salfords on the old Monotype site now known as Perrywood Business Park.
