Regular rear spring check.

After having a rear spring replaced last month i'm starting to get a bit paronoid about if the other one has gone,so was wondering does anyone do a regular wheel off check on them. I feel like i should just to put my mind at rest. :cry:
 
After having one of mine snap I know what you mean being paranoid! I have just done the rear discs and pads on mine so made sure I had a good check of the springs when I had the rear wheels off :)

I thought you should always replace the rear springs in pairs though? That's what I did anyway.....

BMW told me they only replace pairs after 30k miles of use. I drove around for ages on a broken spring, i'm pretty sure i brought the car from BMW with it broken.
 
I check mine whenever the wheels are off, whether that's for cleaning, pad/disc replacement, tyre replacement or anything else.
