Registration documents

Opened a letter last week , it a new registaration docs for the zed , as guys do , I dint read the covering letter with it , so Im puzzled as to why Swansea are sending out new documents ,hence Im planning to phone Swansea on Friday ( last) . Next day the wife gets a new doc. for her Mini , reads the covering letter . Seemingly a quantity of 'Blue' documents got stolen from Swansea , so now all blue registration documents are being changed to 'Red' .

Just noticed the date on the above link , Swansea have been a bit slow ,

I think DVLA are planning to send out the new red documents at the time of road fund tax renewal.

does it really matter what colour they are? they would be easy to forge

Pretty sure mine was red when I got my plates changed...

Agree - it would be very easy to forge. The majority of punters wouldnt pick up on a forged V5 anyways...
