Hello all,

Well tomorrow (Monday) I will be taking my roadster in to have the rather urghhhhh!!!!! wheels reurbed. I have not posted pictures of them (or the Z) cos I am utterly ashamed of the state they are in. Its got that bad that I now make the hubby walk in front ringing a bell shouting 'unclean! unclean!.

I will however post before and after pictures shortly.

The refurbisher is based in Lichfield Staffs. DR Alloys. He came highly recommended when we were restoring my classic Mini. The minilight wheels are 13" with a very deep dish. They were refurbed 4 years ago and are still looking superb. The car is used for about 8 months of the year daily to work. Anyway you can see for yourselves when completed.

Jools.

Jools, as Mr Wilks says they must be split to do a proper job, though expect to pay around £100 a corner.

Secondly, the outer rim are diamond cut & polished, where the lacquer in our climate doesn't last long. Suggest here you ask them to paint both the inner & outer sections, the worlds your oyster with colour choices but here's what I did with mine - outer AUDI Titanium silver, inner Porsche grey & 18 months on save one mysterious curbing since my other halfs been using the car, they're still almost like new.
