How much would it cost to get a set of 4 108's reburbished?

Any recomendations around Milton Keynes, Bedford area too.

Thanks

Have you seen the how to for 108 refurb?

Might be worth a look if you haven't and may save you a few £.

Yeah I have seen it.
But thats for if the laquer is just bubbling and if the alloy isn't kerbered.

Try Pristine Alloy Wheels in Woburn Sands. I just jgot a quote from Swidon@TheWheelSpecialist for £320. They will do in a day, but you have to pay on top for a local company to spilit the wheels. They take your wheels off, and remove tyres, you leg them round to a garage who splits them. You leg them back, they referb, get them screwed together, then they put tyres back on and ballance.

I've just sanded down and repolished a 108 style alloy following a momentary lapse in concentration that saw me graze a curb. It wasnt that difficult although I do have areas on the edge of the lip that are mirror polished rather than diamond cut in appearance. Its difficult to notice though and a dam site better than the grazed look. Once I have sourced spare front and rear 108's I will split and polished all the rims to a nice mirror finish. I dont like the all painted look. Its quite a nice little project. I just dont have the time in one weekend to split the wheels and have the car out of action for the following week or so.

Not your area but you might just want the info on price for comparison.

I had mine done by Lepsons in Swindon for £450. Took them 4 days but that price included an insured courtesy car for the duration. They don't offer warranty of finish if you get them diamond cut finish again (plus I don't want them to corrode again) so I got both parts of the rim powder-coated. An untrained eye won't even notice any difference asi I just got the standard colour and voila, wheels good as new. They even put a new set of tyres on for me that I'd bought off the internet as they were getting low so saved a bit of cash there.

I think Lepsons also have a branch in Kent. (The wheels have to be sent to the Kent one anyway if you want diamond cut finish)

Good luck.

How come they can't split them there? Isn't it just a case of uncrewing them?
Then doing them back up after?
Is there a torque setting?
