refurbed elipsoids fitted

Big thankyou to Mr.Wilkes on here for the new wheels....A few shots enclosed of them fitted to my car...

I have a few questions also if anyone can advise.

1. Best tyre pressure to run these at.. (wont be on car long).

2. I will be changing the runflats that are currently fitted.. omg the comfort/noise level has gone well up since my 16's were on car.

3. I am trying to keep the noise level in the cabin to a bare minimum due to having tinnitus in one ear and whilst I realise moving upto 18's will have a small impact, the current tyres (bridgestone run flats) appear to give off a lot of road noise. Can anybody point me in the right direction to lower the noise level. I see vredeinstein do a tyre with a rating of only 67db so these look like an option.

i would hate to have to put my old 16's on again in order to keep noise level down.
and lastly, the rear tyre 255/35/18 is this the only size that can go on. was thinking maybe 245\40\18??

thanks guys

Looking good Gary , the pressures on 18inch staggered should be 32/34 fronts 33/36 rear depends on tyres & personal choice
Runflats do ride harder & noisier that's for sure .
Tyre choice for change ? Goodyear , Vredestein , Hankook or Uniroyal will all offer great performance & improvement in roadnoise by comparison to Rfs
Tyreleader.co.uk is your friend if pricing up rubber & i see no reason why 245 40 can' t be fitted to rears , it will add to the comfort , you could even go for M spec sizes with 255 40 rear 225 45 fronts

Cool..thanks for this.
Gonna order some tyres this afternoon.
Any last recommendations for comfort and quiet based tyres

If not Michelin then either of these would be my next choice
Uniroyal RS3s / http://www.tyreleader.co.uk/car-tyres/uniroyal/rainsport-3/225-40-r18-92y-187764
Vredestein either Sessanta or Vorti http://www.tyreleader.co.uk/car-tyres/vredestein/ultrac-vorti/225-40-zr18-92y-55785

Many like Goodyears

& Hankooks are consistently at the top of the tests though i have only had the previous Ventus
