Looking good, the best colour car in my opinion for the Z, I have a red E85 and get a lot of compliments about the car when out with the top down

As a fellow red Zeder I don't think you can beat the look of 224s, and like crabbes mine also gets lots of attention when out and about. A very nice mod

Yes, im very happy with how it looks. I put spacers on the front, however not had a chance to drive it yet. So dont know if it will rub or not..
Any of you guys running spacers on front. If so what sizes?
Ive went 15mm, just because i had a set. They fill the arches nicely

224’s are a cracking wheel... looks drop dead gorgeous

Very smart indeed and red is my favourite colour too. In my opinion both the E85 and the E89 look really good in red. It never ceases to surprise me just what a difference having the right wheels makes to the car.

Nice! Mine are ready to be picked up after a refurb so I should have a set fitted to my coupe soon.

I personally think they look much better than the 19's that were on it.

I agree andy, 19s looked ok but when i dropped the jacks and the car settled on the 224s i knew that was me happy.

Because you obviously aren't biased are you!

I'd have bought a red E86 if I could have found one! :(

And the 224s are a great looking wheel - I had a set for my E86, but another option came up so I went for something different. As good as 224s and CSLs look on E85/86s I'm really pleased with my 295s.

I’m currently leaning towards transferring my nearly new Avons (std Si sizes) over, although the recent wheel/tyre thread casts some question over potential rubbing on the rear. I think I should be ok as I’m running Oem M Sport suspension.

Ive opted for 225/40/front and 240/40.
A drop in profile on front and a drop on width on rear and it drove perfect, however as mentioned earlier, ive stuck 15mm spacer on front which looks great but ive not driven it yet. I suspect i may have to reduce spacer to 10mm but hope not as the 15mm matches the rear for filling arch.

I love the red e85, but every time i see forum member Stig's red coupe i go weak at the knees.
