Refurb/Repair of E85 EPS

I am hoping someone may know of a place that will diagnose/repair my notchy steering for me? For a limited time I have agreement from the person that sold me the car to pay half the costs and BBA reman were down to do the job for me, but I have just learned that they no longer support the Z4 EPS unless it is a motor issue specifically. I am past trying to work out what it is myself as it has been going on for nearly a year (UJ weas replaced a few months back under warranty) . There must be others out there that can help me out in a similar way to BBA and avoid the cost of the column or the rack (which my vendor would not agree to)? I have read everything on the forum about this and I know there are many possible causes, hence why I want to get someone who knows about it to sort the problem. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Sent the car to an indy BM guy yesterday and he is quietly confident that the rack is the cause and not the column, though there a couple more tests to do before he will confirm this. This is good news as they are a snip at £475 +VAT, which is massively cheaper than a column. Fingers crossed. This will also mean the job will be all BM parts too. I have read that the there is a worm gear in the rack that can swell and cause similar symptoms as the column faults.
