I just had a quote from a refurb specialist for £150 per corner to fully refurb my 108's. This sounds a lot or is this the going rate... can anyone give me some comparable prices?

Depends what they are going to do. If they will shot blast or acid dip them, then thats a good price. Where as if they just sand them down and spray/polish them it sounds expensive. £50 a corner for a basic refurb is about right. But depends on the finish you want etc
£150 a corner is too expensive, but £50 is too cheap to be true. My colleague has a Golf GTI with BBS split wheels (similar to 108), and it was £75 each.
Splits are normally more money, if they actually split them. As some dont seem to in fear of bolts snapping etc. Bit naughty, but saves them trying to locate new bolts. But £200 is about right to referb a set of wheels, as most dont want to pay that
£600 for a refurb sounds a lot ..............surely a new set ofm108s would not be much more than 750 ?.........edited just checked 108s are a lot more new than 107s...
Hi Gordon
I've had a quote for my 108's ... leaving the car with them, they will remove tyres, split, refurb, refit, balance for £80 per rim plus £35 plus vat so looking at £420 ish in total. I'm considering what finish to have on the rims ... may go for a chrome effect powder coat as a more durable option to the polished rim.

Yeah,just a bit.,lol
aprox £1200 to £1450 a set, depending on what sort of a discount u get. and they dont last if not covered in wheel wax regularly, lol
As for the Refurb,Lepsons (as suggested),or Wheel Specialist/aprox £400 plus vat for all 4/less z4-forum or car club discount(10-20%),but Lepson's appear to get very good comments on here/so wherever is handier. whoever u take it to,make sure u get them to split them,as u won't get as good a job otherwise.
