"Reduction in price to move hood motor into boot"

My roof motor is probably gone as I have all the hallmarks of a faulty roof motor, so would be needing this service and not too far from Durham

Hi,

Could someone post a photo of the finished product i.e. the motor in the boot?

Thanks,
Marco

Need to find time to go and get mine done as at £80 its a no brainer even if my motor was replaced not long before I bought the car

shame he is so far from me by the time I include fuel and overnight costs it comes to not much less than bowser charges and he is only 1 hr from me
Jabber I'm in the south and need this done.......who and where is bowser?

My roof works well but, being as it spends loads of time outside, I have it booked in with Dave for the motor to be moved to the boot next Wednesday - 3rd August - as a precaution.

My mechanic Dave has moved enough of these now so that he can do it in a couple of hours. So for a finished job he will now do it for £80.00 to Forum members.
At this price is it worth trying to do it yourself?
His mobile is 07864 860960.
Previous post by Paulgs1000 shows the finished article which is very neat.
Hope this helps you all out.

Is it possible he could look at a roof for me? i am in chester le street

thanks

When I referred to Dave being my mechanic I did not mean that he works for me but that I have all my jobs done by him.Give him a call and I am sure he will sort you out.Every one who has been seems to be very satisfied.

Just had mine done today by Dave as I was in Durham on business - brilliant job, well recommended
Oh, and an extra positive - my roof motor (which was replaced just over 2 years ago) was pristine, so using a combination of garage, winter hard top and regular checks on the roof drains paid dividends!

So, you didn't need to get it done at all?

PS I'm off to see Dave tomorrow morning. :)

Possibly - but that's relevant of a lot of the "preventative" work I have done on mine :D At least I know that its not going to fail again though!
