Reds New Wheels

Fiiiinally got around to fitting the winter wheels & tyres. I have to say that I was looking forward to seeing these Style 32 reps fitted, but I did not expect them to look soo good - the pics don't do them justice. I just need some tyre dressing now I think. Had 3 people so far comment on how good they look.

Got the wheels from Mr Wilks (of course) who also recommended Nokian WR winter tyres, and although it's very early days they feel pretty good.

Also Took Red into Bush Tyres in Beverley today for an alignment -- good job too as it was miles out & I could feel it. Gotta say, the guys there really looked after me & spent nearly 2 hours sorting the alignment (seized bolts etc) & even offered a Z4 forum discount. All the lines on the print out are now central & Red feels rock solid. These guys always looked after my old E46 too, they were about the only guys that could fit a tyre to her and it still have air left in it two weeks later :) Highly recommended. :)

Now the obligatory pics :)

They sit a treat Stuart , the lower offsets on the reps works well .
Get the tyre slick on & some BM centres & its job done :driving:
Keep us posted how the Nokians cope with the various weathers , temps & surfaces

Thanks Andy, will do. I had my hopes up for some wintery weather, but it's gone all "mild" again. I have had wheel spin in 3rd, but it was damp they were only a few dozen miles old. Exciting though

I can't make up my mind about the centres, traditional blue/white roundels, or black & white.... ?

Not usually a fan of black wheels, but that works so well with the black interior and red exterior.

Yep, black wheels with a red car look very nice - I might be tempted next time I get my Dynamics refurbished (should be an acceptable change as Alpina produce the Dynamics in black)

Really like that look

I think matt black was a great choice for looks and also for maintenance - the style 32's aren't an easy wheel to clean so either silver or gloss back would have been a labour of love to keep looking good
