Red vinyl A Pillars

As part of my slowly progressing audio install, I have recently got round to sorting some A Pillar builds for the tweeters. I know that they will not be to everyones taste as they are a million miles away from OEM looks. However, it's something different. I do plan on doing the door cards in the same colour at some point, and maybe the tiny strip panel behind the roof up/down buttons. But it's slow progression.

There's still loads left to do (full boot install) but I never seem to have the time :(

What amplifiers are you going to be using?

Is that a p88 in the dash?

I've got a Hertz EP4 to power the CDT eurosport Tweeters, mid range (Together on crossover) and CDT HD Mid bass, I've also got a Hertz EP1D, which I am will be powering x4 8" Hertz energy subs (which I am yet to buy) I'm going for x4 8" because I mostly listen dance music that's 170bpm plus, and 10s seem to lag ever so slightly, even with time alignment adjustments.
 
Do you have red leather seats too?

But i agree they do look well smart - sort of like the old MX5 with the red pillars.. very cool indeed.

A man after my own heart favouring 8"s over 10"s. More pictures in due course please.
 
170bpm+ dance music...Ahhh, takes me right back to my youth in the early 90's, tapes of my brother's home-made mixes (genuinely spun vinyl) and a blatant disregard for anyone else's taste in music within a 50m radius 8)

They do indeed look ace, have to confess I thought I was going to find you'd wrapped the outside of the pillars :oops:

Did you take the A pillar trim off to do that, and was it hard ? I ask as I have to replace one of mine at some point.

When I said 'outside' I meant the paintwork.... But of course the trim had to come off :oops: ... I'd like to know how...

Have to not got a copy of TIS with your diag stuff?
 
Red pillars look great, I do not have the cajones to attempt such work, but it looks really good.

Your brothers website is mouth watering - I need something in my VW Caravelle, tis a good job we live miles apart or I could be in some serious trouble!
